Ferris Wheel Love.

How can you look at one and not feel happy? Here's a bunch I have saved from weheartit. The last two photos were taken by me a year and a half ago when I went to Sydney to find mum a wedding dress. It was at daring harbour and we went on it so many times.
Take care now.

Mail Day.

Lately my mailbox has been filling up with letters and postcards from lovely ladies from all over the world. It really makes me happy seeing something addressed to me to isn't an overdue bill.
The lovely Tillie sends me letters that always make my day, just take a look at the picture below. Aren't the just the cutest? Yesterday I got a package from her and she had made me an awesome cross stitch! I'm so happy with it i've placed it proudly on my bar in the lounge room!

Today I got my first piece of mail from Nicola, along with a letter there was a photograph that I absolutely adore!

Tattoo Darling

If you like tattoos or lowbrow art you will know Angelique Houtkamp. She is a dutch artist how puts her own feminine spin on traditional tattoo designs. Her work shows dreamy and whimsical characters: saucy pin ups, strong boxing women, sailors, ships and carnival folk. All done displaying the right amount of nostalgia that I adore making her one of my favourite artists. She is also a tattoo artist, she creates the cutest range of baby painted skulls, has release two books: Tattoo Darling and Tattoo Mystique, designs handbags and she has worked as a makeup artist, dress maker, bar tender, sex shop admin girl and owned her own jewellery company. She's my kind of girl.
I attended the Angelique Houtkamp & Tattoo Group Exhibition in October 2009 which was fantastic! I woke up today to find a picture of myself and Dave at the show. I had been wondering where that was going to end up.. turns out it was used on the outre galleries facebook. I bought a Sailor Sweetheart print that night which I adore, she goes so well with the Sapphira print I bought Dave for his birthday last year.

Sailor Sweethert print.

Tell me about it stud!

I had a great time on Saturday night... even though it started out pretty dull. I was too tired to do anything so I we went to grab a pizza. But there was no where to sit so we went to the beach. On our way there we saw there was a carnival which made me pretty excited because I love ferris wheels. We sat at the beach and fireworks started.. Lola was pretty scared till I told her they were tinker bells. So she started singing tinker bells tinker bells tinker all they way. (Because she doesn't believe that the words are actually jingle bells jingle bells) We went on the ferris wheel and dodge em cars which was fun. I had the perfect outfit on too. American apparel tights that look like leather, a black lace shirt leather jacket and leopard print heels... needless to say with me curly hair I wanted to run around saying tell me about it stud! Note to self going on a love shack ride like in grease is not as easy as it looks in heels.
